Yamaha Music To Set Up 28-Acre Factory In Chennai
Yamaha – a global music instrument manufacturers – will be setting up a new factory in OneHub Chennai. The company announced that the manufacturing unit will span 28 acres and is expected to go into operation in January 2019.
The plant will be producing portable keyboards, acoustic guitars and other professional audio equipment to be sold to the masses.
With this move, Yamaha becomes the fifth Japanese organisation after Ajinomoto, Hitachi Automotive Systems, Maruchan Ajinomoto and Takasago International to set up shop in OneHub.
OneHub is a 1,450-acre industrial township by Ascendas-Ireo nestled about 50 km south of Chennai, close to Mahabalipuram.
More and more corporate giants are expected to set up base in the township in the near future. The influx of these MNCs will have a trickle-down effect on the locality.
The infrastructure will improve rapidly. Flyovers and wide roads will be built, a large number of employment opportunities will be generated which will invite myriad residential projects. The growth in population will result in several reputed educational institutes and hospitals wanting to set up shop, a plethora of famous food joints and shopping malls willing to come in.
The biggest positive result of this trickle-down effect? The locality will witness a significant surge in the price of land per sq. ft. Invest in this location today and enjoy tremendous dividends tomorrow.
