Hello Sir. Do tell us about how you arrived at a decision to buy Akshaya January?
Prabhuvel: Hello.... When I was looking for an apartment in around 2012... I looked at almost all
projects in and around OMR. The key criteria for me and one which Akshaya January fulfilled was -
accessibility to the main road, and the design and layout of the project. The project is very much
space efficient.
How do you mean sir, space efficient in what way?
Prabhuvel: Basically, there is zero end space. If you take this 3BHK apartment for example. This is 1396 sqft. But this has lot of space, compared to other projects that have 1700 sqft homes. We also have three sided ventilation all around the project.
What features at Akshaya January have made life better for the residents?
Prabhuvel: First, safety wise - per tower we have a security guard. We also have a digital security system. These aspects make January a very safe place to live in. Next is maintenance. Anyone who looks around will notice that it is a very clean and neat campus. One more important feature is the garbage chute that we are operating successfully. This is a challenge many high-rise apartments face across the city. I don’t find this feature anywhere. Finally, the theatre. We can say this is the first theatre in a residential project, in Tami Nadu which has 40+ seats and equipped with Dolby Atoms and laser projection system.
What impressed you about Akshaya January?
Prabhuvel: The gym and recreation hall design is very nice and the swimming pool looks marvellous. I have been living here about 2 years now. We have an efficient Water Treatment Plant and Sewage Treatment Plant here. We have water supply from Thaiyur lake. Our storm water drainage system has faced Vardah cyclone and Nivar as well. We had power backup with DG and no water logging at all.
We are looking forward to living the next 20-30 years in Akshaya January!
